Fabulous Etsy Finds

So I'm sure you all know about Etsy by now, and if you don't, you should.  Etsy is an online marketplace for people to buy and sell handmade and vintage items.  It's pretty spectacular.  There are so many really cool items for sale.  I've compiled a few of my current favorites as something of an Etsy sampler.

1.) Little Lamb (a wool hat) from seller sweetpeatoadtots

I don't have any kids yet, but I think this is so freaking adorable.  Seriously, this picture could make the Grinch's heart grow TWENTY sizes.  Babies + some sort of animal ears = SO CUTE.  She has an adorable lion one too (of course my kids will have lion mane-esque hair anyway if they're anything like me).  So if you're looking for adorable knit hats for babies and kids, you should definitely check her out!

2.) Evelyn headband from seller LiveInStyle

I love headbands.  This has never been a secret.  This one is AWESOME.  I love statement headbands, and I love the contrast of the light on dark (this headband is also available in black and brown!).  Her shop is full of lovely vintage-inspired headbands and jewelry (I'm particularly into her earrings).

3.) Antoinette Vintage Rhinestone Earrings from seller belcanto

I've always been a fan of chandelier earrings, and I think these are so sweet and romantic (love that headband too, while we're at it!).  Pretty earrings can take even the most basic outfit to the next level.  These would be just as at home with a plain tee and jeans as they would with a wedding gown.  The shop is full of lots of jewelry, as well as many items geared toward brides.

4.) LEGO Oliver Wood Quidditch Switch Plate from seller vglaser

Everyone knows I'm a total HP nut (Books?  Read 'em all multiple times.  Movies?  Seen them all and whined  about everything that wasn't canon.  Fanfics?  Wrote a few.  Forums?  Been there, done that....Wow, my geekiness is showing, huh?)  What everyone doesn't know is that I've always had this creepy little literary crush on Oliver Wood (you know, the Gryffindor Quidditch captain Harry's first few years at Hogwarts).  I was very excited that Sean Biggerstaff (the guy who plays him in the movies) was hot and had an awesome accent (I'm a sucker for accents...Tom makes fun of me for it).

That's a lot of word vomit.  Cliff Notes?  Oliver Wood is awesome.

So imagine how excited I was when I found this:

Awesome, right?  I think this may actually be an entirely necessary purchase.

Not so into Oliver Wood?  That's okay...she has a whole HP series!  Not into HP either (boo to you, btw)?  That's okay too, because she has a large variety of switchplates available (many with Legos!), like Star Wars, occupations and DEVO.  Yes, I said DEVO.

Found anything recently on Etsy that you think is fabulous?
