At least, I'm sure it probably seems that way lately.
I figured you guys deserve an explanation.
1.) I'm taking an online class from the University of Michigan called Fantasy and Science Fiction: The Human Mind, Our Modern World. It just started (so you could still get in on it, if you want!), and it will last ten weeks. It's offered through Coursera, which offers completely FREE online classes on all sorts of subjects from several different universities. I highly recommend checking it out. I would have found it interesting anyway, but I was especially intrigued because...
2.) I'm writing a fantasy novel! I got the inspiration a couple of weeks ago, so I've been spending a lot of time doing research, developing characters, and worldbuilding. I'm nowhere close to actually writing yet, but I'm getting there.
Here's a very basic alpha map of the country the novel will take place in (and yes, I realize it looks like a face).
3.) We're moving! We're finally able to move back to Lafayette and into our own place again, so I've been spending a lot of time looking for a place to rent.
But fear not, fair readers, for more original content is coming your way, including a new series inspired by a friend, as well as a very special Archie-centric post tomorrow!
Thank you for bearing with me!
