So since we're going to be moving soon (we're hoping for this weekend!), I've got DIY projects on the mind. Since we got rid of a lot of our stuff when we were planning to move to Florida, we have a lot of things to replace (our furniture literally consists of our bed and a folding table with chairs). I'm hoping to make a lot of things that need replaced (not everything, obviously, but some things). With that in mind, I've rounded up some fabrics I love that I might try to find a use for :)
This is the kind of floral that I like -- the kind that looks more like a cool graphic print than your grandmother's couch. I absolutely love all the colors in this fabric (I'm kind of on a navy kick lately), and I think the pattern is really attention-grabbing.
I adore fun little kitschy prints like this. They add so much fun to wherever they are. Double cuteness points if they're Japanese (as this one is). The little palace guards are cracking me up.
I think this print is fun and modern without being too over-the-top. The yellow green is a fun color, and kind of matches my favorite Fiesta dishes :)
Given that my own pup is, in fact, half weiner dog, I think this would be a fantastic fabric in our home (maybe a pillow? Or a dog bed!). I love that it's quirky, but still personal for us.
How awesome is this fabric? It's like a sprinkle of rainbows. It makes me happy just looking at it. I think it would look especially fabulous as an accent pillow on a gray couch.
What do you guys think? Do you have any fabrics you're lusting after?
