Wordless Wednesday: Living Room Paint Job Sneak Peek

Tuesday, February 26, 2013

So you may remember that I was longing to cover the awful, flesh-colored walls in our living room.

This weekend? I started :)

You may have seen a sneak peek if you follow me on Twitter or Instagram, but here's a better picture.

This color is much bolder and brighter than I had originally planned (Tom picked from a few choices I gave him), but all I can say is I.AM.IN.LOVE.

It's the first step to an all-new room!

    1. Thank you!

We actually rent, but our landlord is cool about painting (thank goodness...six months of that awful fleshy color was more than enough!)

  7. You're so brave! Haha. I've been picking grays (which turn out to be blues - yuck) for my house. Maybe I need someone to design for me so I can be more adventurousness since what I'm doing isn't working at all!

    1. Yeah, I don't tend to shy away from bold interior design, and shockingly enough, Tom wants things even bolder and brighter than I do! If it was up to him, our place would look like a crayon box, lol. If you ever want any help, I'd be happy to make some suggestions (though maybe not as bright as my personal colors!)

I do LOVE gray -- it's my favorite neutral!
