ipsy Glam Bag - July 2015

Tuesday, July 14, 2015

I'll have some reviews up in the next few weeks of some of my previous Glam Bag products (I like to use something thoroughly before I vouch for it), but in the meantime, my July bag came yesterday!

This month's theme is Summer Lovin', and I received:

  • Jersey Shore Cosmetics Mongongo Vanilla Coconut Cream Lip Conditioner -- I'm assuming this has nothing to do with Snooki and The Situation (though I could be wrong). I have also never heard of mongongo oil. However, I love anything coconut, and I love lip balm, so I think this could be awesome (plus it's organic and cruelty-free!).

  • Nicka K New York HQ Quad Eyeshadow -- I like eyeshadow, but I normally just go with a swipe of a shimmery neutral. Thankfully, my palette is FULL of shimmery neutrals (I didn't get the one pictured, which is a good thing with my coloring). I'm looking forward to this!

  • Teeez Cosmetics Read My Lips Lipstick -- I was always strictly a balm or gloss girl growing up (I always associated lipstick with my grandma), but I've really been getting into lipstick lately. Like all of the other brands I received this month, Teeez is a new brand for me (and from what I can tell from the website, it's a Portuguese company based in the Netherlands). The color I received, Killing Me Softly, is a bright coral, and I'm actually pretty excited to try it. Though I'm not sure it will look good on me, I like to try new colors out!

  • City Color Cosmetics HD Powder -- I don't really wear foundation (and I still can't find my BB cream), but whenever I get some kind of base again, I would definitely try this mattifying powder.

  • Eva NYC Freshen Up Dry Shampoo -- I love dry shampoo, especially when I straighten my hair (straightening it takes awhile, so dry shampoo enables me to get an extra day or two before I need to wash it). I love trying different brands (dry shampoo is less messy than baking soda, which I'll use in a pinch), so I'm looking forward trying this!

I think I'm most looking forward to the lip conditioner. I seriously can never get enough lip balm!

Did you get the Summer Lovin' Glam Bag? I'd love to hear what you received this month!

  1. The Eva NYC dry shampoo is a good one! I have a full size of it. My favorite thing from Ipsy this month was a Tarte bronzer, it's so nice!
